There are times I feel unhappy and miserable. The source is almost always related to two things that I love the most: my family and my church. Our pain is always associated with what we love; and because we love, we will always have pain in this sinful world. Just ask a mother who gave birth to a child and the savior who gave spiritual birth to the church on the cross. Thus, when you have pain, you have two options: either quit caring, or care enough to be hurt yet love more. That means your agony leads to your opportunity. The source of your pain can become a source of your gain. A place of misery can turn into a place of ministry. The bleeding ground of a weak child can transform into a breeding ground for a man of God. Remember your mother did not abort you and your savior did not quit the cross. Cry out to God for strengths to be defiant against pain and dare to love more. At that very moment, God is redeeming you and will start to use you to redeem others through you.
